How To fix Battery Discharge Problem on Galaxy Note 8

Hello Everyone ,
You might knowing about Deep discharge issue reported on S8/S8+/N8 devices This tool simply switch off device when battery level reaches to 12% to prevent accidental Deep Discharge (While you are sleeping ) Rest is self explanatory.

The deep discharge state is what seems to be problematic on the new Galaxy Note 8. Many users never really let their smartphones completely discharge to zero percent but for some of those who do, this might create issues. This is exactly where the Deep Discharge Protection tool � DDP � comes in. It powers off the device before it reaches an alarmingly low amount of charge. - Better root detection, it will show up root status on top. It should ask root access (If available) on starting of app.
- For rooted device, it will turn off device if first two alerts not attended.
- For non rooted device, It will give two short beeps and then every 30 minutes with louder and long duration each time (should enough to wake up for most peoples ) for next 3 hrs.

*Important:
�If you enable tool from app, it will give a beep when batterylevel reaches 12% two time with small interval and if you dont attend, it will turn off device to prevent further battery loss.
PS : Application shouldnt be greenified or killed by any method. Also to add in list of unmonitored apps from Settings-Battery-Unmonitored apps to prevent killing by android system.

� No root device will get alert only, for shut off device root is requires. I am looking into this for non rootversion for better options.

The steps have been individually mentioned right below. Fortunately, you don�t need root or any other modification to install this preventive tool on your Galaxy Note 8 smartphone.
� 1 � Download DDP_1.2.apk file directly on your phone.
� 2 � Locate the APK you just downloaded and open it to install it.
� 3 � If you are installing an APK directly for the very first time, you would be notified to enable �Unknown Source� setting. If not sure about this, you can read our dedicated article: Enable �Unknown Sources� Option in Android.
�4 � After enabling, the app should install.
� 5 � Open the app by using the app shortcut that has been created.
� 6 � Set the percentage to 12 and select Enable.
